About this Blog

Welcome fellow costume lovers!

Confessions of a Costumeholic is about costumes, but more to the point, it's about my day to day relation with my passion for them, through movies, conventions, research and making process.

About the Photos: If ever you see a picture of you on this Blog, or that you took and for some reason, I haven't given it the appropriate credits or you would like me to take it down, please feel free to contact me and I'll fix whatever the problem is.

You can also contact me if you have questions or comments about costumes or this Blog.

About Me

I am a Costume Designer with knowledge in Historical Garb as well as Fantasy Fashion. I also have great interest in National and Traditional costumes of countries from around the world. My costuming experience ranges from theatre, to dance, to movie reproductions and original designs.

I hold many diplomas including a DCS in Arts & Letters, with a specialization in Cinema, an ACS in Fashion Patternmaker, an ACS in Fashion Illustration CAO, and a BA in Arts, including a Major in Film Study and a Certificate in Publicity.

I spend my free time researching, learning new skills, creating new costumes, and of course, sharing my passion with others through my blog.

  1. Hello there,

I'm hoping you can be of assistance. We are a small company and we are looking for someone to create/duplicate the look of the main character of our book. Our website is www.Magelica.com . We would like to bring Magelica to life. Eventually, we will probably need to bring the other characters to life as well.
Follow us @magelicasvoyage and please message us. We are also on Facebook under Magelica.
